Job Details Job Title: Senior HTML/CSS Developer Job Location: Remote Working Hours: 4 PM to 1 AM IST (Indian Standard Time) Important Note: The company will not provide a laptop during the probation period. Candidates must have their own device to perform their duties effectively. Who We’re Looking For We’re searching for a highly skilled and passionate Senior HTML/CSS Developer with 7 + years of front-end development experience, including extensive expertise in HTML5 and CSS3. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to create responsive, cross-browser compatible, and accessible web designs. Key Responsibilities As a Senior HTML/CSS Developer, you’ll be responsible for shaping the front-end of our web applications and ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance. Your key duties will include: Writing clean, semantic, and well-structured HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript code to build responsive and accessible web pages. Ensuring cross-browser compatibility and optimizing web pages for speed, scalability, and SEO best practices. Collaborating with designers to translate UI/UX wireframes and mockups into fully functional, pixel-perfect web interfaces. Implementing responsive design principles to ensure seamless experiences across devices (desktop, tablet, mobile). Working closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end code with server-side logic and APIs. Mentoring junior developers and conducting code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality. Staying up-to-date with the latest front-end trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve our development processes. Requirements To excel in this role, you’ll need a strong technical foundation, leadership capabilities, and a proven track record. We’re looking for candidates with: 7-8 years of front-end development experience, with a focus on HTML5 and CSS3. Expertise in responsive design, including media queries, flexbox, and grid layouts. Proficiency with CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESS. Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions. Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG) to ensure inclusive web experiences. A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create visually appealing, user-friendly web interfaces and lead successful projects. Proficiency with JavaScript and experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail. Proven ability to mentor and guide junior developers. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment. Fluency in English for effective communication in a global setting. Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have) While not required, the following skills will make you stand out: Experience with CSS-in-JS solutions or CSS modules. Familiarity with front-end build tools like Webpack, Gulp, or Parcel. Understanding of SEO best practices for front-end development.
